PCs are so 90s (update)

A while ago I wrote about a little idea of mine: docking stations for phones, providing a full-size screen and keyboard. Palm came up with a similar idea: the Foleo.The Foleo is mobile and isn't truly full-size, but I can easily imagine the same software being put in full-size hardware which is then sold to internet cafes and such. It makes sense once you add the fact that phones will be the next generation of "plastic money" to the equation: Walk into an internet cafe, put your phone next to the keyboard, read your email and surf the web, take your phone and walk away. Payment is handled by your phone without you even noticing it.If this idea is implemented, it will boost usage of mobile and web based applications, possibly so much that people will want internet-cafe-like docking stations instead of PCs at home. And of course then they would use Foleos instead of laptops.
